REGIONAL PROFILE
The Monterey County Office of Education serves as the Regional Lead Office for Region 5 Expanded Learning Partnerships, your liaison between the California Department of Education (CDE) and local before, after school and summer programs funded through state After School Education and Safety (ASES) and federal 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) grants.

The Regional Lead Office is your first point of contact to access support services that ensure your expanded learning program is successful. Region 5 Expanded Learning Partnerships serves 40 district, charter and community based organization grantees and the 240+ TK-12th grade funded sites that reside in our four county service area: Monterey, San Benito, Santa Cruz, and Santa Clara.
